Big K graciously took a break today from his job with The People's Court to escort Miss Scarlet south for the winter.

Far from being ready for retirement, Scarlet is reportedly pleased to have secured a first-floor studio apartment in the intergenerational community known affectionately as the Maxwell Compound. It is located in a lovely, rather upscale part of town. Her roommate is said to be a fuel-efficient, quiet young lady. A nearby neighbor is a nationally recognized expert in geriatric-farm-implement health issues (including restorative surgery), a comfort to Scarlet, who is by all accounts realistic and pragmatic about the fact that she is getting on in years.
